Delete Your Account

You can permanently delete your blip account and all of your data at any time. Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone.

Delete from inside the app (recommended)

Open blip and make sure you're signed in.
Tap the menu (☰, top-left of the home screen).
Tap Edit profile.
Scroll down and tap Delete account.
Confirm. Your account and data are removed right away.

Prefer to email us?

Send a request from the email address on your account to contact@blipevents.ca with the subject "Delete my account". We'll verify it's you and complete the deletion within 30 days (usually much sooner).

What gets deleted

Your account and login (email and password).
Your profile: @username, display name, account type, and bio.
Every event you created.
Event photos you uploaded.
Your saved favourites.
Reports and blocks you submitted.

What may remain briefly

Your data is removed from the live app immediately. Copies may persist for a short time in encrypted, routine backups before they are overwritten. We do not use this data for anything once your account is deleted.
